JAMB has recently released a new guideline for candidates who are unable to recover their lost SIMs through retrieval or other means. In the newly updated guidelines, JAMB stated that OTP was introduced as an alternate measure of verification during COVID-19 and any candidate without access will now need to visit JAMB local offices for corrections.
How can JAMB send OTP to my Email?
This information is for those who has lost their sim cards and cannot receive OTP through that sim.
If you lost your SIM card, visit any JAMB Office with your JAMB Reg no and also provide them with a passport photograph of yourself, along with the email address and phone number used for JAMB registration. On arrival at the office in person, they will direct their system to resend the OTP code to you via your email.
Once you get the OTP, you can then proceed to have your JAMB data changed.
So Can JAMB send OTP to email?
Yes, JAMB can send OTP to email. This is applicable to those who lost their sim cards. This can only be done in JAMB offices.
