The Joint Admission and Matriculation board just recently anounced the modalities involved in the 2021/2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
According to JAMB, registrations of candidates for the 2021/2022 UTME/DE examination will start on April 8th 2021 and the exercise will end on May 15, 2021.
Fabian Benjamin who serves as the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol posited that the National Identity Number is compulsory and needed during the UTME/DE registeration exercise.

How Can I Register for 2021/2022 JAMB
Candidates has to visit any accredited JAMB registration centres in order to register. Candidates are advised to only use the accredited JAMB registration centres that can be found in all states. But before then, you are required to;
- Get a Valid email account: This is the first step required in the 2021/2022 JAMB registration exercise. You are required to get a valid working email account. We advocate you get a Gmail account instead. JAMB will send information from time to time about the exam to your email.
- Get your NIN ready: The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has made it compulsory for candidates registering for the 2021 UTME/DE examination exercise to have the National Identification Number.
- Create your JAMB Profile: You cannot register for the 2021 UTME/DE examination if you do not have a JAMB profile and as such, it is compulsory you create a JAMB profile before the commencement of the JAMB registration exercise. Aside from the writing of the UTME exam that the profile is needed, you also need the profile to check your result, check if you have been given admission, and also printing your JAMB admission letter which is required in tertiary.
- Check your Eligibility: Before you can register for the UTME/DE examination you will have to check if you are eligible to sit for the examination. This can be done with JAMB iBass.
- Buy your E-pin: Your JAMB e-pin can be gotten from the bank. The e-pin is used to register for the exam
- Visit CBT Centre: Now that you have got your e-pin, you can now visit any accredited CBT centres that are found in every state in Nigeria to commence the exam registration process proper. You are required to go with your e-pin
Which day will JAMB UTME/DE Examination hold?
The examination will hold from the 5th of June to the 19th of June. All candidates will have to reprint their JAMB slip to know the examination date. Please note you are the person to choose your exam centre.
What about the JAMB Examination Mock Date?
The registration for JAMB mock exam will end on the 24th of April and the mock exam will be on the 30th of April. Candidates who wants to get a feel of how the main exams can be are advised to register for the mock exam. The mock exam is not compulsory and it is for only interested candidates.
